Patrick Blouin, NP
About Patrick:
Patrick graduated from Montana State University with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in May of 2017. Over the next few years, he gained diverse experience as a registered nurse in various settings, including pediatric oncology, the operating room, home health, and psychiatry. Realizing that his greatest fulfillment came from connecting with people, Patrick decided to become a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, achieving a 4.0 GPA, in May 2024.
Becoming a doctorally-prepared Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner has been a privilege for Patrick, allowing him to fulfill his potential and passion for helping others. He believes that the heart of mental health lies in the profound desire to aid individuals in their recovery, health maintenance, quality of life improvement, or facing the unknown. Patrick feels humbled and honored to be part of Family Psychiatry of the Woodlands, where he strives to meet our community’s mental health needs to the best of his ability.
Patrick is ANCC Board Certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan), and is a member of the American Nurses Association, The American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International honor society.
