Jennifer Laymond graduated from San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas in 1993, with an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.

In 1993 she began her nursing career as a charge nurse in multi-disciplinary psychiatric facilities such as Parkview Center for Geropsychiatry, Bayshore Medical Center, Spring Shadows Glen, Gulf Pines and Cypress Creek Hospital, where she currently works as a charge nurse on a General Psychiatric unit. She is skilled in working with children, adolescents, adults and the elderly population.

In 1998 she started working in a private psychiatrist's office and has continued working in this type of setting under the direct supervision of a psychiatrist ever since. She joined Family Psychiatry of the Woodlands in 2004, working directly under the founder, Dr. Marshall Lucas.

She went on to pursue more endeavors and in 2007 became a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC), working with attorneys on medical and nursing malpractice cases as well as other types of cases where health, illness or injury is an issue.

She is ambitious, dedicated and a committed team player with a desire to continue helping companies reach their goals and objectives.

Jennifer assists Dr. Lucas with patients. They work very closely together to provide the necessary treatment for their patients.
